Inspired by tech hachathon, I translated the concept into the world of social innovation. How regular people with a various of skills can come together to solve some of the city’s problems?

HACKATHON TO TRANSFORM CITIES

24hrs of collective intelligence experience to transform the city of Malmö

We take over a space and we turn it into a playground for experimentation. We invite talented people to share what they do best. We get food and materials. We present challenges facing the city. We invite 100 people to stay with us and work for 24hrs finding solutions to those challenges. We give them tools and help them to prototype. We have music, secret rooms and workshops.
